COVID-19 Information Regarding Office Visits and Procedures

In light of ongoing COVID-19 concerns we are adjusting our office, procedure scheduling and policies as follows:

For Telemedicine appointments:

We will be seeing patients in the office however we are predominantly using telemedicine. Telemedecine can easily be used to speak face to face with your doctor. Any brand of cell phone, IPAD or computer with a video camera can be used. However this is best done on your cell phone it usually does not require any downloads. Please call the office to make a telemedicine appointment, these appointments will be scheduled and run on time like a regular office appointment. If you do not have a device to complete a face to face telemedicine appointment we can arrange a regular telephone appointment with your doctor.

For routine or yearly follow up office appointments:

We are happy to schedule a telemedicine appointment immediately, we are also taking urgent and new appointments daily.

If you have a routine colonoscopy due without any new symptoms, routine screening for Barrett’s without any new symptoms, or have had a recent routine exam postponed we are monitoring the situation and expect to start scheduling our routine healthy patients in Mid to early May. Please call the office for more details.

For procedures:

We have updated our policies to include pre-procedure screening as well as additional safety measures, equipment and testing to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

If it is required that you need to be seen in the office we ask that you come on time to appointments. if you are early please wait in your car until a few minutes before the appointment time and call the office prior to entering the building. We also ask that patients do not bring any additional family members with them unless necessary.

We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and the safety of our patients is our first priority. Additional adjustments may need to be made with regard to office visits or procedures.

We are still available at the office daily as well as through telemedicine conferencing and continue to provide quality care to our patients.
